Starting at age 7 in a professional production of “Carousel”, Tom then went on to play Winthrop in “The Music Man” and Friedrich in “The Sound of Music” in his native California. This led to TV commercials and other various concerts. His story is unique in that he pursued other endeavors including earning a BFA in art, before returning to theatre. Tom is a hybrid of Musical Theatre, classical acting and Opera, and has performed with San Francisco Opera, SF Lyric Opera, Sierra Repertory Theatre, Bronx Opera Company, and Bailiwick Repertory in Chicago, among many others. He has also been featured in plays such as “Looking For Normal” (Wayne) and has made a number of TV appearances.
Tom earned his Masters of Music in Voice from The University of Montana, and has studied at NYU’s CAP 21 and Circle In The Square.
He now lives in New York.
